If the high costs and complexity of commercial software has stopped you from putting your store online, this may be your solution. Commerce.cgi can have your store's catalog up and running on the web in literally a couple of hours. The easy to use Store Manager will even allow you to add and remove products from your inventory right through your web browser.

The Commerce.cgi Store Manager allows you to add, remove, and edit up to 100 products right through your web browser. You will also be able to easily select how you'd like to process transactions - choose real time processing with either Authorize.net or iTransact (account required - purchased separately), or choose Offline Processing to process through your offline system.
Real Time Credit Card Processing
Please Note: Real time processing of credit cards requires more than shopping cart software. You will need a Merchant Account to accept credit cards, and a processing gateway, such as Authorize.net, or iTransact to charge your customers in real time.
Getting Started
The first step to use Commerce.cgi is to have an SSH Telnet client on
your pc, and request that your account be enabled for this access. More
information about SSH Telnet is available here: http://www.latin-host.com/support.
The second step is to carefully read through the Commerce.cgi
Readme file. The final step is to download the code - Commerce.cgi
2.01 is available for download as a Unix tar file. Download Commerce.cgi, install.txt and you're off and running.
Please be advised -
Commerce.cgi is a highly customizable set of scripts, but it does require a higher level of experience with CGI code and Telnet. If you're not comfortable with this much "hands on" effort the AlaCart shopping cart may be a better choice.
