Club Sang Ju: This club is known as the “night club” of Seoul. It offers exotic cocktails and live music all day long. There are a total of eight bars inside the club and all are served in their own style. Some of them have karaoke, while others offer the finest Japanese steaks. This club is a favorite among young girls, as it is known to offer the best services around.
Clubbies Bar: This bar is located near Dongdaewon. This is a place which many expats frequent. Most of the time, people here are drunk at the end of the day. But since this is a “no tolerance” area, if a guy keeps staring at a girl for too long, he will get in trouble. This is a great place to spend a few hours, with or without a drink in hand. Most locals enjoy this bar.
강남룸싸롱 : This bar is considered as the “cuckoo clock” of Seoul. The interior of this place is based on Victorian motifs, making it a perfect place for a quiet evening. Some of the popular drinks offered here include: The Cucumber Tea, Squid Milk and Rose. If you wish to experience some “old school” culture, you may try the Sang Duk, which is a spicy red wine.
Blue Bottle: This is another trendy bar where you can try various Korean drinks, along with other local favorites. There are tables placed around the bar, where you can have a date or just chatting with friends. If you’re a “karaoke” type, this is a great place to hang out after the music stops. Some of the drinks offered here include: The Ramen, which is a rice wine, and Gojeseo, which is a mango wine. If you want to experience a unique nightlife experience, this is the place to go.
Hanbar: The name of this bar pretty much tells everything about its atmosphere. There is dim lighting, and the music is performed with a machine noise. This bar is known for its lively atmosphere. Some of the popular Korean girl songs that are played here include: Back Smile, Sang Doo, Walking On Water, Give Me Money For Nothing, Take It Easy and I’m Dreaming Of You.
O-hin: This bar is located in the heart of Seoul. If you’re looking for somewhere to drink alone, or perhaps meet up with your girl friends, this is the place to go. There is a very friendly and familiar atmosphere to this bar. Some of the more popular drinks offered here include: The Cheerful, the Lucky Money, the Big Stick, and the Black Boots.
Donggong: This is the place to go if you want to see the hottest girls in town. This club is basically located inside of a gothic apartment building. Here, you’ll see the girls dressed in their most scandalous red outfits. Popular entertainment here includes: Gangnam Style, Come Here, and I Love You.
These are just some of the bars you can visit in Seoul. While these are by no means the most popular or the best, you should definitely take the time to visit at least one of them.
